UPDATE: We are currently accepting collected items at a limited capacity. Please send an email to office@orchardpark.gov.uk if you wish to drop off your items.
The Community Council is working in partnership with Terracycle to collect difficult-to-recycle items. Over the past year, we have collected over 10,000 crisp packets and raised over £100 for our local primary school and another £100 to Blue Smile children’s charity. That is 10,000 fewer packets being sent to landfill and with the material collected, Terracycle is able to produce new items such as garden furniture and park benches. A huge thank you to all our collectors for making a meaningful impact on our environment and supporting our primary school.
For more information on what we are currently collecting, please see below.
